Pre monsoon activity across the country

APM MONSOON DESK: Pre monsoon activity across the country though cast a soothing effect for fastening people but its presence would likely to delay the monsoon arrival that is expected around July 15. Because of Premonsoon in Pakistan during mid June, Eastern and mid Indian states are likely to remain vulnerable to floods havoc. Moreover, delayed arrival of monsoon in Pakistan would affect the HKH glacier deposit as well. Normal ENSO index in the equatorial Pacific Ocean & Indian Ocean Dipole indicate above normal rains for India and Pakistan! Following are the satellite imagery of latest monsoon activity over the South Asia.

January 5-7, 2016: Islamabad, Chairman APM Pakistan attended different meetings in various educational institutions and delivered lectures on the climate change &amp; earthquakes. Organizing committees comprising of students &amp; scholars were also formulated to establish the environmental clubs on non-profit and non- political basis.

7.8 Magnitude Earthquake hit Ecuador

17th Apr 2016

A Tsuani Warning is issued in Ecuador, after a 7.8 magnitude Earthquake hit pacific coastline in Ecuador on Saturday. 77 people are dead and hundreds are injured.

6.5 Magnitude Earthquake in Southern Japan

15th Apr 2016

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck Japan - dozens of houses collapsedtime, then few hours later another earthquake of 6.2 magnitude hit the same area. Almost 100 people are injured and 9 people have died. Peoples are trapped under the collapsed building and awaited to be rescued.

The deep ocean is Earth’s least explored environment, but that is rapidly changing. Scientists are calling for a new stewardship ethic as technological advances open the ocean deeps to the extraction of oil and gas, minerals and precious metals, and the dwindling supply of land-based materials creates economic incentives for deep sea industrialization.

Swat, Shangala and Northern Areas of the country remained under the heavy blanket of untimely clouds those suddenly generated over Iran & Turkey borderline areas and drowned the capital city of UAE and then invaded Pakistan.

Water and Vapor Imagery!

One can see the cloud formation over Pakistan on March 10. 2016.

As a news by APM was published on Feb3, 2016 on the main website and on this website as well that a solar flare caused a snow blizzard across the eastern shores of USA. So it was expected that right after winter and in the mid of March a rain spell will be observed in the North-Western Pakistan. Again a warning in Urdu was also published on Feb 13, 2016 and same is happening now. In case of torrential rains Landsliding in Malam jabba and Miandam Swat can not be ruled out. Another alert has been issued yesterday i.e. on March 10, 2016
