Climate Change in Pakistan

Once again the unpredictable climatic conditions is prevailed in Pakistan as a result the span of spring season has shortened further. During last two decade, it has been observed that the summer season suddenly knocks at the door within a few days after the end of the winter season which leaves us with a short spring season which is getting shorter every year. Plantation is the posible solution to this climatic condition. We all should take initiative in our own capacity to plant trees, and save the nature.

APM Meeting with Mr. Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Chairman NHA

Chairman NHA Mr. Shahid Ashraf TararAPM had a meeting with Mr. Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Chairman National Highway Authority (NHA), wherein it was proposed to start a Plantation Campaign to plant trees along the highways. Mr. Shahid discussed the proposal in detail and appreciated APM efforts and its dedication on afforestation.

We are thankful to Mr. Shahid to give us time to discuss the proposal.

Cleanliness Campaign

APM participated in a cleanliness campaign organized by a Volunteers forum. The youth wing of APM actively participated and removed the debris especially the plastic-can which is most hazardous to the eco system. This activity was a result of the MOU signed between APM and CUST.

APM has signed a MOU with Capital University

APM has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Capital University of Science and Technology Islamabad (CUST) by which the University students can now voluntarily participate in activities organized by APM. We are thankful to the University Management for giving us the opportunity to stand together to Save The Nature.

It is another milestone for APM, which is tirelessly working on its Mass Awareness Program, to educate people about the climate change.

This MOU will help in a positive utilization of the youth energy.

‘Extreme’ Chilean Wildfires Worst in Decades
